In addition to this morning’s character posters, Marvel has released a new featurette for Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings. The upcoming film is set to bring a host of new heroes and villains into the MCU. And since most casual viewers probably aren’t familiar with the Master of Kung Fu or his supporting cast, Marvel recruited Simu Liu (Shang-Chi), Awkwafina (Katy), and Meng’er Zhang (Xialing) to answer questions about their characters. Although to be fair, it sounds like their responses could just as easily apply to the actors themselves…

When asked who’s most likely to get into a fight, Zhang immediately claimed that title for herself. But when it comes to who’s most likely to joke their way out of a confrontation, the actors all agreed that Liu’s character would come at his opponent with an assortment of quips.

Being the lone non-superhero of the three, Awkwafina’s Katy probably wouldn’t do well in a zombie apocalypse. However, she did admit to being the one who’s most likely to fall for a phone scammer (apparently, she has experience to back this up).
But despite Katy’s lack of “superhero genetics,” it sounds like she plays a vital role in Shang-Chi’s war against his father, Wenwu, a.k.a. The Mandarin (Tony Leung). Liu even proudly insisted that they would all rise to the occasion when it comes to saving the world.
Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings hits theaters on September 3.
