Warner Bros. Debuts the Box Art For DC’s Injustice

The animated adaptation of the Injustice: Gods Among Us video game is just over a month away. The Injustice animated film will hit Blu-ray, 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray, and digital on October 19.

While the first video game featured heroes from an uncorrupted world who crossed over to the Earth ruled by Superman, the film will take its inspiration from the Injustice: Gods Among Us: Year One comic. The Joker finally achieves his ultimate victory by tricking Superman into killing Lois Lane and their unborn son. However, that victory is short-lived when Superman murders the Joker in retaliation.

In response to his personal tragedy, Superman recruits the Justice League to take over the world. To “protect it,”of course. Regardless, Batman isn’t on the same page as the Man of Steel, and he has allies of his own. “But when Super Heroes go to war, can the world survive?”

Warner Bros. Animation has also released the box art for Injustice, along with the special features.
