It’s Jamie Foxx’s birthday, so now it’s time for Marvel and Sony to light his candles. The studios celebrated Foxx’s 54th trip around the sun today by releasing a new TV spot for Spider-Man: No Way Home focusing on Max Dillon/Electro, with Foxx reprising his role from an alternate live-action spider-verse. Check it out for yourself below.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 memorably presented Max as a shy, obsessive loner who later turned into a blue-skinned supervillain. However, the MCU is handling him a bit differently. For starters, he has a new Stark Tech-enhanced suit to help him control his powers. But he also seems to be a lot more confident and smooth this time around, which doesn’t exactly bode well for Peter’s attempts to send Max back to his own reality.

Of course, Foxx isn’t the only one getting a wardrobe upgrade in the sequel. The new film also features the return of Willem Dafoe’s Norman Osborn/Green Goblin from Sam Raimi’s original Spider-Man trilogy. Recent TV spots have shown us that at some point during the film, the Goblin’s “Power Rangers” helmet gets destroyed, forcing Norman to make a few tweaks to his armor. Old-school fans should be happy to see that he added a tattered purple robe in the vein of his classic comic appearances. There’s no mask, but luckily Dafoe makes it look easy to be intimidating.
