Although Paramount Pictures’ Dungeons & Dragons film won’t be the first D&D movie, it will be the first to have a real budget behind it. Wizards of the Coast’s popular roleplaying game is heading back to the big screen courtesy of directors Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley. And while Paramount hadn’t revealed the title before, that changed earlier today. As you can see in the tweet below, the name of the film is Dungeons and Dragons: Honor Among Thieves.

Chris Pine will headline the movie alongside Michelle Rodriguez, Justice Smith, Regé-Jean Page Hugh Grant, Sophia Lillis, Chloe Coleman, Jason Wong, and Daisy Head. For the moment, we don’t know much about the story. However, the title suggests that at least some of the cast members will be playing thieves and rogues.
Entertainment One and Sweetpea Entertainment are producing Dungeons and Dragons: Honor Among Thieves for Paramount. The film will hit theaters on March 3, 2023.
