DC League of Super-Pets Gives the Justice League Their Own Character Posters

Krypto and Ace may be headlining DC League of Super-Pets, but their famous owners aren’t far behind. The upcoming animated feature will also feature its own version of the Justice League. But when these legendary heroes get kidnapped by an unlikely new adversary, it’s up to their furry companions to save the day. Ahead of its premiere later this month, Warner Bros. has released nine new character posters spotlighting the film’s human heroes and even a few other supporting cast members. You can view them all in the gallery below.

Each of these new posters features a whimsical tagline befitting the Justice League’s diverse assortment of heroes and their wide-ranging personalities. John Krasinski leads the team as Clark Kent/Superman, making this his second comic book role of the year. He’s joined by Keanu Reeves as a very pointy-eared Bruce Wayne/Batman. Jameela Jamil will also voice Wonder Woman before showing up as Titania in Marvel’s She-Hulk: Attorney at Law next month. Jemaine Clement (Flight of the Conchords) co-stars as a Jason Momoa-inspired Arthur Curry/Aquaman. The Flash (John Ealy) and Cyborg (Daveed Diggs) get new posters as well. Finally, the Jessica Cruz version of Green Lantern is making her big-screen debut in the film, voiced by Orange is the New Black’s Dascha Polanco.

Some of the film’s non-superpowered characters get new posters as well. First and foremost among these is Superman’s girlfriend, Lois Lane, as voiced by Olivia Wilde. And despite his well-documented distaste for comic book movies (and his appearance in 2019’s Joker), Marc Maron will also lend his voice to the film as the Man of Steel’s arch-nemesis, Lex Luthor.

DC League of Super-Pets will hit theaters on July 29.
