The Sandman, Marvel Studios, Warner Bros. and More Hit Comic-Con on Saturday, July 23

The Sandman, Marvel, and Warner Bros. Hit Comic-Con on Saturday, July 23

Two weeks from today will be the biggest news day for San Diego Comic-Con 2022. Saturdays tend to have the best Hall H panels at Comic-Con, and this year will be no exception. SDCC has announced the full panel lineup for Saturday, July 23, and we suspect that Marvel, and Warner Bros. fans will be very happy with what they have planned.

Saturday’s Hall H programming will kickoff at 10:15am with the official Warner Bros. Pictures panel. This year’s DC films, Black Adam and Shazam! Fury of the Gods, will both be featured. And while the panel description doesn’t explicitly promise that Dwayne Johnson and Zachary Levi will be there, both are mentioned by name.

From there, HBO will take the Hall H stage at 11:30am with House of the Dragon. For the first time in years, George R. R. Martin will return to Comic-Con for a panel alongside series co-creator/co-showrunner Ryan Condal and the other co-showrunner, Miguel Sapochnik. Cast members in attendance include Matt Smith, Paddy Considine, Olivia Cooke, Emma D’Arcy, Steve Toussaint, Eve Best, and Graham McTavish.

The Star Trek Universe panel will beam down to Hall H at 12:45pm, with cast members and producers from Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, Star Trek: Lower Decks, and Star Trek Picard.

At 2:30pm, Nei Gaiman will arrive in Hall H for Netflix’s adaptation of The Sandman. Netflix will premiere “a special video presentation,” before the cast and creative team appear on stage for a Q&A with the audience.

However, the biggest panel of the day will likely be Marvel Studios’ Hall H presentation at 5pm. Kevin Feige almost always uses the Comic-Con spotlight to drop surprise Marvel announcements. If and when that happens, it’s going to happen here. The only thing that the panel description promises is that “Feige and special guests provide an inside look at the ever-expanding Marvel Cinematic Universe.”

Other Saturday highlights include The Rocketeer‘s 40th anniversary panel at 10:00am in Room 29AB, the 30th anniversary panel for X-Men: The Animated Series at 1pm at the Neil Morgan Auditorium, San Diego Central Library.

San Diego Comic-Con will take place from July 20-24. You can view the full list of Saturday programming here.
