Yesterday brought the rumor that Elizabeth Olsen was Marvel Studios’ new choice for the Scarlet Witch in the upcoming Avengers: Age of Ultron, and according to The Hollywood Reporter, Olsen is now in the final negotiations to take on the role.
In addition, THR says that Bradley Cooper is in final talks to voice Rocket Raccoon in Guardians of the Galaxy, a story first reported by Latino Review.
Production is already well underway for Guardians of the Galaxy, though the cast is still coming together with Vin Diesel in talks for the role of Rocket Raccoon’s buddy Groot. Guardians of the Galaxy will open in theaters on August 1, 2014. Shooting on The Avengers sequel is slated to begin next February and the film will open in theaters on May 1, 2015.
