The penultimate entry in “Phase Two” of Marvel Studios’ ongoing cinematic universe, Guardians of the Galaxy appears to be prepping for some additional shooting with James Gunn having just posted the following to his Instagram feed:
It appears a showdown between Zoe Saldana’s Gamora and Karen Gillan’s Nebula is imminent and both stars look like they’re getting pretty comfortable with their hand-to-hand-combat skills. They join a cast that also includes Chris Pratt, Dave Bautista, Lee Pace, Michael Rooker, Djimon Hounsou, Benicio del Toro, John C. Reilly, Glenn Close, Gregg Henry, Bradley Cooper and Vin Diesel.
The adventures of an unlikely cast of characters who must team up in order to defeat a cosmic force of epic proportions, Guardians of the Galaxy hits the big screen August 1.
