Ghostbusters is headed back to the big screen next month to celebrate its 30th anniversary! Today, Sony Pictures Entertainment has released the trailer for the one-week engagement, which will be landing in more than 700 theaters nationwide beginning August 29.
Directed by Ivan Reitman and starring Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Harold Ramis, Ernie Hudson, Sigourney Weaver, Annie Potts and Rick Moranis, Ghostbusters originally hit the big screen on June 4, 1984 and has since become one of the most popular comedies of all time, spawning a sequel, an animated series, video games and more.
Also a part of the festivities is the re-release of the film on Blu-ray, accompanied by the first-ever release of Ghostbusters II in high definition. More details on both are available here.
