Already beginning to open internationally, Peter Jackson’s grand finale to his Middle-earth saga, The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies, arrives this week domestically, hitting 2D, 3D, and IMAX 3D theaters this Wednesday, December 17. Having reclaimed their homeland from the Dragon Smaug, Bilbo and his Company of Dwarves have unwittingly unleashed a deadly force into the world.
