Robert Downey Jr. Delivers Iron Man-Inspired Bionic Arm to Young Boy

The line where Robert Downey Jr. ends and Tony Stark begins continues to blur as the Iron Man star posted a most heart-warming video on his Facebook page today.

In the video, which you can watch below, Downey meets a young boy named Alex Pring who was born with a partially developed right arm, and helps gift him a bionic arm developed by Limbitless Solutions and carried out by Microsoft’s The Collective Project. Headed up by Albert Manero, Limbitless Solutions aims to build affordable, bionic, 3D-printed arms,

“My parents always encouraged me to use my education to help others and to dream big dreams,” Manero previously said. “Now I want to inspire others to help engineer hope for the world.”

Downey can next be seen as Tony Stark/Iron Man in Avengers: Age of Ultron, in theaters May 1.
