First Look at Hawkman and Hawkgirl in DC’s Legends of Tomorrow!

Hawkgirl and Hawkman will debut on Arrow and The Flash later this year

Production on DC’s Legends of Tomorrow officially began this week and to cap off a week of filming, DC Entertainment and The CW have released our first official look at Ciara Renée and Falk Hentschel as Hawkgirl and Hawkman! Check out the photo in the gallery below!

With powers derived from the ancient Egyptian hawk god, Horus, Kendra Saunders (Renee) and Carter Hall (Hentschel) are destined to reincarnate through time as winged, helmeted warriors. The pair will debut in the crossover episodes for Arrow and The Flash before spreading their wings in DC’s Legends of Tomorrow next year.

DC’s Legends of Tomorrow also stars Victor Garber, Brandon Routh (“Arrow,” Superman Returns), Arthur Darvill (“Doctor Who”), Caity Lotz (“Arrow”), Franz Drameh (Edge of Tomorrow), with Dominic Purcell (“The Flash,” “Prison Break”) and Wentworth Miller (“The Flash,” “Prison Break”). Newcomer Casper Crump is set to play the immortal villain Vandal Savage in the series.

When heroes alone are not enough… the world needs legends. Having seen the future, one he will desperately try to prevent from happening, time-traveling rogue Rip Hunter is tasked with assembling a disparate group of both heroes and villains to confront an unstoppable threat – one in which not only is the planet at stake, but all of time itself. Can this ragtag team defeat an immortal threat unlike anything they have ever known?

Based on the characters from DC Comics, the new series hails from Bonanza Productions Inc. in association with Berlanti Productions and Warner Bros. Television. Greg Berlanti (“The Flash,” “Supergirl,” “Arrow”) serves as executive producer alongside Marc Guggenheim (Eli StonePercy Jackson: Sea of Monsters), Andrew Kreisberg (“The Flash,” “Warehouse 13″) and Sarah Schechter (“The Flash,” Pan).
