Filming Locations and Dates for Deadpool 2, The Predator, and Aquaman

As 2016 draws to a close, it’s time for the films of 2018 to start gearing up for production next year and we’ve got new details on locations and filming dates for some of those highly-anticipated movies.

Up first are Deadpool 2 and Shane Black’s The Predator. According to What’s Filming?, both are set to shoot in Vancouver, British Columbia with Deadpool 2 set to begin in January of 2017 and The Predator starting in February (and running until May). Given the behind-the-scenes turmoil for Deadpool 2 with the departure of director Tim Miller, it’s possible that this is subject to change. Ryan Reynolds will return for the sequel, both as star and producer, along with screenwriters Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick. The Predator will star Boyd Holbrook and Olivia Munn from a script by Monster Squad co-writer Fred Dekker, with Shane Black directing; it will debut in theaters on February 9, 2018.

We also have news on the King of Atlantis himself, Aquaman, with Gold Coast Bulletin reporting that the film will set up shop at Village Roadshow Studios in Australia, which was home to Marvel Studios’ Thor: Ragnarok earlier this year. Pre-production on the film will begin later this month at the studio with cameras set to start rolling next year. James Wan, a native Australian himself, will direct the film, which stars Jason Momoa as the title hero and Amber Heard playing his wife, Mera.

Are you looking forward to Deadpool 2The Predator, and Aquaman?
