Ghosts of The Flash’s Past Appear in Speed Force Trailer

The CW has released the first promos for both The Flash Episode 3.16 and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow Episode 2.14. The trailer for The Flash episode, titled “Into the Speed Force” and airing on March 14, features a first look at the return of Eddie Thawne, Captain Cold and Ronnie Raymond. It’s described as follows:

BARRY TURNS TO THE SPEED FORCE – Desperate to stop Savitar and save his friends, Barry (Grant Gustin) turns to the speed force for answers. H.R. (Tom Cavanagh) gives Jesse (guest star Violett Beane) some advice. Gregory Smith directed the episode written by Brooke Roberts & Judalina Neira.

The Flash stars Grant Gustin as Barry Allen/The Flash, Candice Patton as Iris West, Danielle Panabaker as Caitlin Snow, Carlos Valdes as Cisco Ramo, Tom Cavanagh as Dr. Harrison Wells and Jesse L. Martin as Detective Joe West. Season 2 of the series also introduced Keiynan Lonsdale as Wally West and the Earth-2 version of The Flash as played by John Wesley Shipp (who also played Barry’s father, Henry Allen).

The network has also given a first look at the next episode for DC’s Legends of Tomorrow. Titled “Moonshot,” the episode also airs on March 14 and is described as follows:

HOUSTON, WE HAVE A PROBLEM — When the Legends track Commander Steel (guest star Matthew MacCaull) to NASA Headquarters in 1970, they learn where Nate’s (Nick Zano) grandfather hid the last fragment of the Spear of Destiny. The team notices a time aberration during the Apollo 13 mission and believes that the Legion of Doom might be involved. As the Legends journey into space to intercept Apollo 13, the Waverider suffers massive internal damage and Ray’s (Brandon Routh) life is left in jeopardy when he is stranded on the moon. Meanwhile, tension grows between Rip (Arthur Darvill) and Sara (Caity Lotz) as to who is the leader of the team. Victor Garber, Franz Drameh, Maisie Richarson-Sellers and Dominic Purcell also star. Kevin Mock directed the episode written by Grainne Godfree.

DC’s Legends of Tomorrow stars Arthur Darvill as Rip Hunter, Brandon Routh as Ray Palmer/The ATOM, Caity Lotz as Sara Lance/White Canary, Victor Garber and Franz Drameh as Professor Martin Stein & Jefferson “Jax” Jackson/Firestorm, Dominic Purcell as Mick Rory/Heat Wave, and Nick Zano as Dr. Nate Heywood/Steel.
