As for the specific titles of the new DC Comics films, only time will tell which heroes will be on the big screen in 2020. There are quite a few DC Comics films in development, but only two have confirmed release dates: Justice League will hit the big screen this November 17 with James Wan’s Aquaman on track for December 21, 2018.
While 2019 placeholder dates have been set by in the past, a lot has changed. Among the projects in various stages of development at the studio are Matt Reeves‘ Batman film, a Joss Whedon Batgirl movie, David Ayer‘s Gotham City Sirens, sequels to Wonder Woman and Man of Steel and lots more. Given the same panel’s major announcements in the past, there’s a very good chance that we’ll have a better understanding of exactly what’s next for the DC Universe after this week’s Comic-Con panel.
