Riverdale Episode 2.02 Photos: Pop’s Diner is in Trouble

Ahead of the season premiere next week, The CW has released the first photos from Episode 2.02 of Riverdale which you can check out in the gallery below! Riverdale Season 2 will premiere on The CW on October 11.

Riverdale Episode 2.02 is titled “Chapter Fifteen: Nighthawks” and is set to air October 18. It is officially described as follows:

“With the gunman still at large and the residents of Riverdale on edge, Betty leads the charge to save Pop’s after learning that the diner may be forced to close its doors forever. Meanwhile, the gang becomes increasingly concerned for Archie’s well being after noticing a string of unusual behavior from him. Elsewhere, Betty and Veronica approach Cheryl and Josie for their help saving Pop’s, while Jughead’s attempt to find FP (Skeet Ulrich) a new lawyer may have some serious repercussions. Finally, when a past betrayal unexpectedly comes to light, Veronica finds herself at a crossroads with Hiram (Mark Consuelos) and Hermoine (Marisol Nichols.)”

Allison Anders directed the episode, which was written by Michael Grassi.

KJ Apa stars as Archie Andrews in the series along with Lili Reinhart as Betty Cooper, Camila Mendes as Veronica Lodge, Ashleigh Murray as Josie McCoy, Cole Sprouse as Jughead Jones and Madelaine Petsch as Cheryl Blossom.

Based on the characters from Archie Comics, Riverdale hails from Warner Bros. Television and CBS Television Studios, in association with Berlanti Productions, with executive producers Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter and Jon Goldwater.
