DC Universe has dropped a brand new promo for the upcoming eighth episode of Doom Patrol. The next chapter will focus on the daughter-father relationship between Niles and Dorothy and Robotman and Clara. Clara has recently discovered the truth about what happened to his father, who might have an unexpected second chance to bond with his long-missed daughter. In the meantime, Dorothy is trying to fight back the Candlemaker, who is attempting once again to come out of the child’s mind. Jane and Larry will travel to Arkansas to confront something from her past. It also seems that Cyborg and his girlfriend have some significant issues to discuss as they are fighting inside what looks like a diner. The next episode will likely tell us more about Roni’s past.

The official synopsis of “Dad Patrol” reads:
“Determined to prove her worth in The Underground, Jane brings Larry to rural Arkansas to help her retrieve an invaluable item. Meanwhile, Niles organizes a special day for Dorothy, who hides a personal development from her declining father. And Cliff gives father/daughter bonding with Clara (guest star Bethany Anne Lind) his best shot, while Rita embraces her superhero status as “The Beekeeper” and Vic is forced to confront the real Roni.”
Doom Patrol Episode 2.08 will debut on DC Universe and HBO Max on Thursday, July 30.
