As of today, Marvel officially won’t be premiering any new releases on the big screen this year. Regardless, Marvel still has a few small screen offerings to unleash before 2020 is over, starting with Hulu’s Helstrom. This show marks one of Marvel Television’s last projects before it was absorbed by Marvel Studios last year. Now, Hulu has premiered a new trailer for the upcoming series.
The latest trailer certainly gives viewers more to go on than the first teaser, which debuted in July. Here, we get a few new details about the childhood of the Helstrom siblings, including a newspaper clipping that hints at what happened to their father. However, fans will have to wait a few more weeks to get the full story. Additionally, Robert Wisdom appears as Caretaker in the trailer, as does June Carryl’s Louise Hastings.

Although Helstrom supposedly takes place within the continuity of the MCU, the trailer once again omits any reference to the Marvel brand. Despite this, the show will have a presence at next month’s New York Comic Con event. The series’ cast and crew, including showrunner Paul Zbyszewski and stars Tom Austen and Sydney Lemmon, will gather virtually to discuss their work on the show.
All 10 episodes of Helstrom’s first season will premiere on Friday, October 16 on Hulu.
