In the comics, The Corinthian always wears sunglasses to hide the rows of small teeth line that line his empty eye sockets. He made his debut in The Sandman #10 back in October 1989 as one of the nightmares Dream created to help him. The Corinthian soon rebels against his creator and goes rogue. He then starts possessing human beings and consuming their eyes. As punishment for his rebellion, Dream confronts him and destroys him, before making some improvements. The second incarnation of the Corinthian is a fearless hand-to-hand fighter.
Netflix has yet to announce an official release date for the series.
