Quite possibly the best Toy Story sequel, it’s the first one made by the Gen X’ers who really turned toy collecting into the big deal it became. Woody and Buzz finally part ways, and yes, it’s emotional, but in a way that feels more honest than some of Pixar’s other gratuitous tear-jerks. And Keanu Reeves as Duke Caboom is more like the real, unaffected Reeves in person than any of his other performances have ever been.
