For weeks, Carol Danvers was trapped in the future world of 2052…a year after her own demise in Captain Marvel: The End. She soon discovered that her sacrifice saved the Earth. However, Carol’s surviving friends and allies were under threat by Ove, the son of Namor and Enchantress. Ove was personally responsible for bringing Carol to the future, because he wanted to use her power to return to the past and begin his conquest there.
Now, Carol is back home in the present. But Ove is also in the modern era, and he’s already plotting his next move.
In Superhero Hype’s exclusive preview for Captain Marvel #28, Kelly Thompson and artist Jacopo Camagni catch up with Carol as she has a very vivid nightmare about what will happen now. The simple truth is that not even Captain Marvel is powerful enough to beat Ove. That’s why it’s time for Carol to start thinking outside of the box.
