PulseCon Exclusive Figure Set Depicts Elvis M.O.D.O.K. and The Captain

While some fans may prefer that cranially enhances supervillain M.O.D.O.K. to be serious, the Patton Oswalt animated series is far from the first comedic depiction. In the Nextwave comics, the Beyond Corporation made multiple M.O.D.O.K.s that resembled Elvis Presley. And in a nod to the King’s poor appetite habits, they fired cheeseburgers as a primary attack. Now a PulseCon exclusive Marvel Legends figure set immortalizes the Elvis M.O.DO.K., who comes packed along with Nextwave‘s The Captain.

The Captain, a parody of every superhero with the word “Captain” in their name, is just your typical Warren Ellis-created, substance-amusing, super-sociopath. He includes two heads, for snarky and angry looks. The Elvis M.O.D.O.K. looks like a variant of the current deluxe figure, whose construction allows for easy swapping out of face and hair parts. The new Elvis elements thereof also include sunglasses. And of course he has (non-firing) cheeseburger projectiles for display.

The box set, dubbed M.O.D.O.K. World Domination Tour, should make a stop on Hasbro Pulse sometime in fall. The virtual convention has yet to set a specific date, however. But they’ve provided multiple images now, that appear in our gallery below.

Will this M.O.D.OK. set dominate your world? Let us know in comments.
