Nearly a decade ago, Smallville finished its ten season run on The WB/The CW. Although Crisis on Infinite Earths won’t be able to bring back everyone from Smallville, stars Tom Welling and Erica Durance have already had their own reunion.
On her Instagram page, Durance shared a picture of herself as Lois Lane alongside Welling’s Clark Kent. Welling portrayed Clark for ten seasons, while Durance joined Smallville in season 4. They shared countless scenes on the Kent farm, and that’s where they met up again for this picture.

While the final season was leading to Lois and Clark’s marriage, the ceremony was interrupted during the series finale. It’s unclear if the couple tied the knot by the time of the flash forward at the end of the episode. Regardless, Crisis executive producer Marc Guggenheim has indicated that the crossover will reveal what Clark and Lois have been doing in the nine years since Smallville.
Crisis on Infinite Earths will kick off on December 8 in Supergirl. Part 2 will hit Batwoman on December 9, before The Flash takes part 3 on December 10. Then on January 14, 2020, Arrow and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow will wrap up the crossover.
