Harley Quinn Season 1 Episode 1 – What Did You Think?!

Way back in 1992, Harley Quinn took the world by storm after a brief part in Batman: The Animated Series. However, Harley’s increased presence on that show led to her comic book debut a year later. Now, Harley’s headlining her own animated series on DC Universe. Yesterday, Harley Quinn season 1 episode 1 finally arrived, and we want to know what the Superhero Hype community thinks about it!

Kaley Cuoco is stepping into the title role that Arleen Sorkin made famous, with Alan Tudyk as her Joker.  The first episode featured Harley in her original jester costume as she was forced to face the fact that Joker doesn’t love her. Subsequently, Harley also adopted a costume more like her current comic book counterpart. Now, Harley wants to be the crime boss of Gotham City, alongside her gal pal and possible lover, Poison Ivy.

The first episode was also far more profane than Harley’s usual stories. Harley and Ivy didn’t shy away using F-bombs and expletives. There was also plenty of violence, because Harley can occasionally be pretty vicious. This is definitely an adults only animated series. Diedrich Bader is also reprising his role as Bruce Wayne/Batman from Batman: The Brave and the Bold. Although in this show, Bader’s Batman may be the only one who takes everything seriously. Additionally, the series will get to explore the DC underworld and introduce its own version of Wonder Woman and other heroes.

Harley Quinn season 1 will continue every Friday on DC Universe.
