Bryce Dallas Howard Shares Behind-the-Scenes Pics From The Mandalorian

Although Bryce Dallas Howard is well known for as an actress, she’s been slowly building a resume as a director as well. In the new episode of The Mandalorian, Howard brought “Chapter 4: Sanctuary” to Disney+. Within the episode, the lone hero brought the Child (a.k.a. Baby Yoda) to a remote planet to hide. However, the Mandalorian soon found trouble waiting for him and his young charge.

Via Twitter, Howard shared a few pictures from the episode. In the first pic, Howard offers some thoughts to Gina Carano, who made her debut on the series as Cara Dune. The second pic features the village children surrounding Baby Yoda. Since the Child is primarily portrayed via puppetry, the young actors are really getting a good look at it. Finally, the third picture features the Mandalorian and Cara addressing the villagers about the threat facing their homes.

Howard is also the second woman to direct an episode of The Mandalorian. Deborah Chow helmed the third episode, “The Sin,” and will return later this season. Additionally, Howard and her father, Ron Howard, are now the only father-daughter director duo in the Star Wars universe. Ron Howard directed Solo: A Star Wars Story in 2018.
