This week, Harley Quinn had a “L.O.D.R.S.V.P.” and she was on the verge of having everything she ever wanted. Recognition, clout, and an invite to become a member of the Legion of Doom. Not to be confused with the Legion of Dildos, a sex shop with whom the real Legion is apparently in a protracted lawsuit over the LOD name. Regardless, DC Universe has released Harley Quinn season 1 episode 8, and we want to know what the Superhero Hype community thinks about it!
It seems a little early in the series for Harley to make it into the Legion of Doom. That’s why the key revelation was that Lex Luthor and company didn’t really want Harley at all. They want to bring Poison Ivy into the fold. Unfortunately, Ivy’s attempts to warn Harley about that only succeeded in hurting their friendship. Additionally, Harley’s performance against Aquaman may have legitimately won the LOD over. But in the end, Harley and Ivy are on the outs with each other, even though Harley’s crew is “in” the LOD. Also, the Joker is waiting to see his ex.

Meanwhile, Doctor Psycho and Sy Borgman had a subplot where they tracked down Sy’s estranged sister, Mirielle. She was a lovely lady before she was accidentally turned into a sea monster. However, Mirielle retained her mind, and carried a grudge against Sy for emotionally abandoning her. Sy and Mirielle’s reconciliation was almost enough to get Harley to reach out to Ivy. But ultimately, Harley made the wrong choice and sided with the LOD over her best friend.
