The Clone Wars Debuts Synopses for First Two Season 7 Episodes

We are less than a month from the heavily anticipated revival of Star Wars: The Clone Wars. To fuel fans’ hype, Disney+ released the names and the synopses for the first two episodes of the upcoming Season 7 of the show. Apparently, the series’ premiere will focus on the Bad Batch, a squad of Clone Troopers set apart from their kin due to genetic mutations. The new crack squad should have already debuted in Season 6 before Disney’s purchase of Lucasfilm threw things into limbo for a while.

The Clone Wars Season 7 premiere is called “The Bad Batch,” and its synopsis reads as follows:

“Captain Rex and the Bad Batch must infiltrate an enemy base on Anaxes.”

The second episode will feature the return of Anakin Skywalker, on his way to becoming the notorious Darth Vader. The synopsis of “A Distant Echo” reads:

“Anakin Skywalker, Rex, and the Bad Batch make a shocking discovery on Skako Minor.”
