Earlier today, DC Universe dropped the first season finale of Harley Quinn. However, it won’t be long before Harley and her gang return. Via Decider, Harley Quinn season 2’s first episode will hit DC Universe on Friday, April 3.
The fast return of the series is only possible because the initial order was for 26 episodes. DC Universe split the order into two 13-episode seasons. Harley Quinn‘s second season will also be released weekly, just like the first season. At the moment, it’s unknown if Harley Quinn has a third season lined up. But if DC Universe plans to release season 3 in 2021, then it would have to be in production this year.

Harley Quinn‘s first season finale left the series in an interesting place. Almost all of the established DC heroes and villains are seemingly out of the picture. Save for Harley and her crew of course. Additionally, season 2 will mark the debut of Sanaa Lathan as Selina Kyle/Catwoman and Briana Cuoco as Barbara Gordon/Batgirl.
