ABC has dropped a brand new promo for the upcoming sixth episode of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 7. During their recent visit to the Seventies, the escalation between the Agents and the Chronicoms reached a new high. The episode also paid homage to Nick Fury’s iconic look back in the days, as Coulson and Agent May wore blue S.H.I.E.L.D uniforms while trying to stop the launch of Project Insight.
But it seems that Sibyl and Luke are more determined than ever to put an end to the Agency’s history. Yet, the Chronicoms will have to deal with Agent Mack’s tenacity.

Aprill Winney directed the episode written by DJ Doyle. The official synopsis of “Adapt or Die” reads:
“The stakes are higher than ever when, after blowing their cover and damaging the Zephyr in the process, the team must scramble to rescue Mack’s parents, save S.H.I.E.L.D. from a chronicom infestation, and fix the ship … all before the next time-jump. Meanwhile, Daisy and Sousa find themselves at a disadvantage against a power hungry Nathaniel Malick and his goons, and Coulson will have to do the thing he does best in order to save the future.”
The next episode of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. will air on Wednesday, July 1, on ABC.
