While the last Star Wars movie trilogy gathered mixed reaction from critics and fans alike — and recently, even from some of the actors –it seems that the positive consensus for The Mandalorian is almost unanimous. An excellent mixture of a captivating story, an intriguing protagonist aided by a lovely green creature, as well as several convincing supporting characters like Giancarlo Esposito’s Moff Gideon or Gina Carano’s Cara Dune, resulted in a thrilling show that hooked the viewers.
Among the announced news items for Season 2, fans will see Ahsoka Tano for the first time in live-action. For the occasion, the former Jedi Padawan of Anakin Skywalker will be portrayed on the screen by actress Rosario Dawson. Additionally, Temuera Morrison will play the notorious bounty hunter Boba Fett, whom many fans thought dead after the events of Return of the Jedi. There will also be some space for the former ruler of Mandalore, Bo-Katan Kryze.
