King won for her leading role as Angela Abar/Sister Night, while Abdul-Mateen won the best supporting actor in a limited series award for his turn as Doctor Manhattan.

Watchmen showrunner Damon Lindelof and Cord Jefferson shared an Emmy for best writing in a limited series or a movie. Nine Inch Nails’ Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross also won best music composition in a limited series for their Watchmen score. Additionally, Watchmen landed awards for best cinematography (Gregory Middleton), best fantasy/sci-fi costumes (Sharen Davis and Valerie Zielonka), and best casting (Victoria Thomas and Meagan Lewis).
