Things are getting more intense than ever in the latest teaser for the upcoming seventh episode of The Boys Season 2. With only a couple of episodes left in the sophomore season, Homelander is behaving as wildly and unpredictable as ever. It also seems that The Seven have finally found out that there is a mole among them. While Starlight is imprisoned, Hughie has to do whatever it takes to save the life of his love interest, even if it means asking for help from Lamplighter, a former member of the superpowered assembly who has now decided to help the Boys in taking the Supes down. The brief trailer also features the return of Dr. Park, who might have some precious knowledge about Homelander’s childhood.

Craig Rosenberg wrote the episode. The official synopsis of “Butcher, Baker, Candlestick Maker,” reads:
“To help Victoria Neuman (Claudia Doumit) make a case against Vought, Mallory and The Boys look to an unlikely source for answers. Hughie gets terrifying news about Starlight. Meanwhile, Homelander and Stormfront further their master plan for Compound V.”
The Boys Episode 2.07 will debut on Amazon Prime on Oct. 2. Unlike the first season, Amazon dropped the first three episodes and continues to broadcast the remaining installments week-to-week.
