It was an open secret that Rosario Dawson was coming to The Mandalorian season 2 as Ahsoka Tano. Lucasfilm and Disney+ weren’t able to keep many of this season’s guest stars under wraps. However, Ahsoka was one of the most prominent additions to this year’s cast. Ahsoka may not be the first animated Star Wars character to crossover to live-action, but her importance can’t be understated. She’s one of the few, if not only, Jedi or former Jedi, who survived the Empire’s purge. She’s Anakin Skywalker’s apprentice, and possibly the link between every major era in the franchise.
Now, Disney+ is celebrating Ahsoka’s arrival with a season 2 poster of her own.

Each of The Mandalorian‘s major guest stars have already gotten posters of their own, even the Frog Lady. So this wasn’t necessarily a surprise. Regardless, Ahsoka’s appearance on the series is clearly setting the stage for her to have a larger role going forward. Whether that means she’ll reappear in The Mandalorian or return in her own series remains to be seen.
The Mandalorian season 2’s first five episodes are currently streaming on Disney+. Episode 6 will arrive on Friday, December 4.
