Something Is Off With Georgiou in Star Trek: Discovery Episode 3.09 Stills

CBS All Access has just released a batch of promotional photos for the upcoming ninth episode of Star Trek: Discovery Season 3. The story will develop in a two-part episode, and it will follow Georgiou’s current status closely. It appears that the time jump to the 32nd century has significantly affected the former Terran Emperor of the Mirror Universe, who hasn’t been herself in a while. And while everyone tries to understand what is going on, her condition is worsening. The recently released promo for the episode showed that she goes as far as fighting with her own adopted daughter, Michael Burnham. Perhaps the mysterious new planet the crew discovers has an answer to the current situation.

The photos also feature the rest of the USS Discovery crew, including Saru, Tilly, Adira, and Dr. Culber. You can check the Star Trek: Discovery Episode 3.09 stills in the gallery below.

Omar Madha directed the episode, and Alan McElroy wrote the teleplay from a story by Bo Yeon Kim and Erika Lippoldt. The official synopsis of “Terra Firma Part 1” reads:

“The U.S.S. Discovery crew journey to a mysterious planet in hopes of finding a cure for Georgiou’s deteriorating condition. Stamets and Adira make a stunning breakthrough with the newly acquired Burn data.”

The upcoming Star Trek: Discovery Episode 3.09 will hit CBS All Access on Thursday, Dec. 10. The second part of the episode will debut one week later.
