The Mandalorian Season 2 Episode 7 – What Did You Think?!

Warning: There are spoilers ahead for The Mandalorian season 2 episode 7!

As The Mandalorian season 2 winds down, there’s only one real mission left: saving Grogu from Moff Gideon (Giancarlo Esposito). However, that requires the aid of Migs Mayfeld (Bill Burr), a former Imperial sharpshooter. And he’s got very reasons to help his old foe, Mando (Pedro Pascal). Disney+ has premiered the seventh episode of season 2, and we want to  know what the Superhero Hype community thinks about it!

Cara Dune (Gina Carano) really came through for Mando and arranged for Mayfeld to be released into her custody. Boba Fett (Temuera Morrison) and Fennec Shand (Ming-Na Wen) stood by as Mando appealed for Mayfeld’s help. Reluctantly, Mayfeld agreed to locate Moff Gideon’s ship, but only if he could access a terminal in an Imperial refinery on Morak. Additionally, only Mando could accompany Mayfeld inside…by wearing the armor of an Imperial soldier.

Mando and Mayfeld hijacked an Imperial shipment before they were also hijacked by pirates. By surviving the pirate attacks, Mando and Mayfeld were welcomed as heroes in the refinery. Regardless, Mayfeld refused to use the access terminal because it would scan his face. Instead, Mando took off his helmet and let the terminal scan him. Mayfeld’s former commander, Valin Hess, confronted Mando and Mayfeld. However, he ended up sharing drinks with them as congratulations for their success.

Mayfeld grew increasingly angry at Hess, because of an incident in their past. Finally, Mayfeld killed Hess, forcing Mando to help him make a quick exit. Thanks to the sharpshooting of Shand and Dune, the duo made it out alive. Mayfeld even set off a massive explosive, as a way to sooth his conscience. That’s probably also why Mando and Dune let Mayfeld go. Shortly thereafter, Mando sent Gideon a threatening message as he promised to reclaim Grogu.

The Mandalorian season 2’s first seven episodes are currently streaming on Disney+. Episode 8 will arrive on Friday, December 18.
