The Heroes Are Expecting in the Latest WandaVision TV Promo

The upcoming WandaVision miniseries will officially kick off Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe in January. To keep the fans’ interest high, Disney has debuted a new TV spot with fresh footage. Besides paying homage to many TV comedies that fans have watched over the years, the video features a better look at Kathryn Hahn’s Agnes, the nosey neighbor of Wanda and Vision. On top of that, Vision can be seen speeding to help his love-interest in a manner reminiscent of Quicksilver, Wanda’s brother. While the scene might be just a sort of tribute, it opens some questions about Quicksilver’s return. Even though actor Aaron Taylor-Johnson denied any involvement in the MCU anytime soon, fans know that they should never say never in any comics-based universe.

And…Wanda’s pregnant? With twins?

Most interestingly, the promo also features a closer detail of Teyonah Parris’ Monica Rambeau. The daughter of Air Force pilot Maria Rambeau shows off a medallion in the shape of a sword. From the comics, fans already know that this is a hint of the upcoming Sentient World Observation and Response Department debut in the MCU. To sum up, S.W.O.R.D. deals with extraterrestrial threats in space the same way S.H.I.E.L.D. does with threats on Earth. The space-based intelligence agency’s existence has already been teased in the Spider-Man: Far From Home post-credits scene.

WandaVision will officially debut on Disney+ on Jan. 15, 2021.
