Clark Tells His Kids the Truth in the Latest Superman & Lois Promo

Of all the challenges to face Superman over the years, having teenage boys may prove the toughest. In the latest promo for The CW‘s Superman & Lois, the half-powered couple decide to tell their kids the truth. But the longer a lie stays maintained, the angrier those lied to will get. Even if the lie was for the rightreasons…and especially if those lied to are angsty male teens. Who thought they knew everything, but never figured out that their dad with glasses off looked like a major celebrity hero.

As the choice of songs in the spot suggests, everything should ultimately be “All Right Now.” And the new Superman costume, closer to Henry Cavill’s but with a Brandon Routh-like belt buckle, looks great in action. Take a look in the player below:

Per the official synopsis, “After years of facing megalomaniacal supervillains, monsters wreaking havoc on Metropolis, and alien invaders intent on wiping out the human race, the world’s most famous superhero, The Man of Steel aka Clark Kent (Tyler Hoechlin, Teen Wolf) and comic books’ most famous journalist, Lois Lane (Elizabeth Tulloch, Grimm), come face to face with one of their greatest challenges ever – dealing with all the stress, pressures and complexities that come with being working parents in today’s society.”

All that, and their kids might have inherited super powers too. Which was headache enough for Black Lightning, let alone Earth’s most powerful hero.

Superman & Lois premieres Tuesday, February 23. Stream next day free only on The CW.
