Ryan Faces New Challenges in Batwoman Episode 2.05 Photos

The CW has revealed a shiny new set of promotional photos for the upcoming fifth episode of Batwoman Season 2. It appears that fans will see the official live-action debut of Lincoln Clauss’ Evan Blake, a.k.a. Wolf Spider, in the next installment. In the comic book realm, he is an Olympic-level gymnast who locks horns several times with Gotham’s Scarlet Knight. He might turn out to be a thorn in the side of Ryan Wilder as well. In the meantime, the titular heroine is having some troubles in dealing with her own team. While she insists on doing things her way, she might realize soon that she needs as much help as she can get.

Norma Bailey directed the episode written by Daniel Thomsen. The official synopsis for “Gore on Canvas” reads:

THE SECRETS UNDERNEATH – Batwoman (Javicia Leslie) is approached by Commander Kane (Dougray Scott) and Agent Moore (Meagan Tandy) to boost an infamous work of art that reveals the way to Coryana – and Kate. Despite her reservations, Luke (Camrus Johnson) and Mary (Nicole Kang) convince Ryan to take the assignment, causing tensions within the Bat-team to escalate. Meanwhile, as Alice (Rachel Skarsten) attempts to fulfill Safiyah’s (guest star Shivaani Ghai) insidious request, she slowly discovers that she may not remember everything about her time on Coryana.

The upcoming episode of Batwoman Season 2 will hit The CW on Feb. 21.
