Now that The Falcon and the Winter Soldier has wrapped up its six-episode run, Marvel is ready to take viewers behind-the-scenes of its latest live-action series. Disney+ has premiered a new trailer for the next installment of its Assembled documentary series, which details the making of Sam Wilson and Bucky Barnes’ recent adventure.
Disney+ launched Assembled last month with another hour-long special that explored the making of WandaVision. Of course, The Falcon and the Winter was far more action-oriented than Marvel’s last TV series. So expect this new special to put additional emphasis on stuntwork and fight choreography. Fans will see how the producers orchestrated the show’s most memorable action sequences, including the series premiere’s aerial canyon fight. Plus, viewers will learn how they crafted episode 2’s truck battle and plotted the return of the Dora Milaje.

However, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier was about more than just flashy spin-kicks and fancy weaponry. In addition to series stars Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan, showrunner Malcolm Spellman, director Kari Skogland, and executive producer Nate Moore will also address how the series tacked real world issues through the lens of a superhero story.
“The goal was to be very grounded so that the super side of it became embedded in character,” noted Skogland.
Assembled: The Making of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier hits Disney+ on Friday, April 30. You can check out the trailer for the special below.
