Shortly after HBO Max and Cartoon Network announced the Batman: Caped Crusader animated series, Variety broke the news of an upcoming animated show focused on Superman. The series goes by the title My Adventures With Superman, and the producers believe so much in his potential that they have already ordered two seasons. The story will follow Clark Kent and Lois Lane in their twenties and sees Jack Quaid dubbing the Man of Steel while Alice Lee will voice Lois. The plot will also involve Jimmy Olsen, completing the Daily Planet investigative news team.

Warner Bros. Animation will produce the series. The project sees the president of Warner Bros. Animation and Cartoon Network Studios, Sam Register, as executive producer alongside Jake Wyatt and Brendan Clogher. Josie Campbell is co-producing.
“It’s been a great partnership working with Cartoon Network and HBO Max to bring more DC superheroes to the platform in new and creatively interesting ways” Register said. “This is the first animated Superman series in many years and we want to tell our Superman story through the trio of Clark, Lois and Jimmy — whose relationship dynamic will allow for rich, serialized and engaging stories as we explore their lives as individuals and their journey together as friends.”
HBO Max and Cartoon Network have yet to announce an official release date for My Adventures With Superman.
