Marvel Studios has released a new promo for the upcoming Loki series. As many fans already know, the titular antihero lost his life while attempting to stab Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War. However, a version of the God of Mischief from a different timeline has survived in Avengers: Endgame. Now, it appears that the efforts made by the dead version of Loki to become a kinder divinity have been to no avail.
While the Northern God might have returned to his old habits, he has now a lot on his plate. His interference with time hasn’t passed unnoticed by the Time Variance Authority, and Loki has to make amends for his wrongdoing. The latest clip reminds viewers of the importance of time in the upcoming series, teasing that Loki might soon become a more demanding client than usual for the TVA agents.

Here’s the official synopsis for Loki:
“Picking up immediately after Loki steals the Tesseract (again), he finds himself called before the Time Variance Authority, a bureaucratic organization that exists outside of time and space, forced to answer for his crimes against the timeline and given a choice: face deletion from reality or assist in catching an even greater threat.”
The first episode of Loki debuts on Disney+ on June 9. New episodes will follow every Wednesday.
