Fans are a few days away from watching The Flash season 7 finale. The latest season, which debuted March 2, will wrap things up after eighteen episodes. Following the COVID-19 delay that forced producers to postpone filming for the current season, The CW has at last revealed the official promo for the upcoming season-ending episode. From the recently released footage, it appears that it’s time for Barry Allen and August Heart, a.k.a. Godspeed, to settle their rivalry once and for all. To confront an army of Godspeed clones that has flooded Central City, Barry gathered a team that includes his children Impulse and XS, and also John Wesley Shipp’s classic Flash.

Marcus Stokes directed the episode written by Eric Wallace and Kelly Wheeler. The official synopsis for “Heart of the Matter – Part 2” reads:
“SEASON FINALE – The Flash (Grant Gustin) enlists a host of speedster allies, including Iris (Candice Patton) and his children from the future – Bart (guest star Jordan Fisher) and Nora West-Allen (guest star Jessica Parker Kennedy) – to end the speedster war and defeat a deadly new adversary: the villainous Godspeed (guest star Karan Oberoi).”
The next episode of The Flash airs at 8 pm on The CW on July 20.
