Nearly a year after The CW announced that Supergirl would be signing off after its sixth season, the cast and crew have finally reached the last day of shooting. Production on the long-running Arrowverse series comes to an end today. And in honor of this milestone, a few of the show’s actors have marked the occasion on social media.
Series stars Jesse Rath (Brainiac 5) and Jon Cryer (Lex Luthor) both took to Twitter to announce the series’ last day of filming. You can check out their posts below.

Rath and Cryer may be sticking with the series until the very end. However, other cast members have already said their goodbyes. Earlier this month, David Harewood shared his own post to commemorate his last day on set as J’onn J’onzz/Martian Manhunter. Additionally, Julie Gonzalo (Andrea Rojas/Acrata) and Nicole Maines (Nia Nal/Dreamer) wrapped their scenes last weekend.
Surprisingly, we have yet to hear any parting words from the series’ headliner, Melissa Benoist. The actress hasn’t actually posted anything on social media since early May. But we expect she will have some thoughts to share when season 6 is officially in the books.
The next episode of Supergirl airs on Tuesday, August 24 on The CW.
