Fennec Shand spared the life of one assassin, and brought him to face Boba Fett. While the assassin was reluctant to talk, his fear of the Rancor (which was long dead) led him to reveal that the mayor sent him. However, the mayor denied these allegations and killed the assassin in front of Fennec and Boba after they stormed his office. Additionally, the mayor told them to revisit Garsa Fwip’s Sanctuary casino.

Garsa was visibly nervous when Boba confronted her. Regardless, she claimed the true threat was from Jabba the Hutt’s cousins, the Twins. Moments later, the Twins arrived at Sanctuary, and they had Black Krrsantan as their enforcer. For you casual fans, Black Krrsantan is a ruthless Wookiee bounty hunter who often works with Doctor Aphra in Marvel’s Star Wars comics. As for Doctor Aphra herself, she hasn’t appeared in live-action. Yet.

Boba refused to stand down to the Twins, and they declined to fight him at this time. That night, Boba has another bacta tank flashback to his time with the Tusken raiders. While the Tuskens taught Boba how to fight with their weapons, he taught them as well. The Pyke Syndicate was killing Tuskens at random during spice transports. So Boba decided to steal some speeder bikes from the Pykes, and then train the Tuskens in their use.

After some time has passed, Boba leads the Tuskens on a raid of the spice train. Many Tuskens are killed, but the battle eventually goes in their favor. Boba stops the train, and he forces the train’s survivors to deliver a message to the Pykes. From now on, they have to pay a toll to the Tuskens. In gratitude, the  Tusken leader gives Boba a lizard that runs up his nose and triggers a vision quest. The next day, Boba returns with a large tree branch.

Fett is then shown how to mold the branch into a Gaffi Stick, and he is given Tusken robes of his own. They’ve made him one of the tribe.
