In just seven days, Moon Knight will take the Marvel Cinematic Universe in a decidedly supernatural direction. But someone should tell Steven Grant that he is Moon Knight. And now, someone has. Disney+ has released an extended Moon Knight promo that adds a few scenes to a teaser that was released earlier this week. Steven’s source of insight is none other than Marc Spector, one of the dominant personalities in Moon Knight’s mind.
The key takeaway here is that not only is Marc fully aware of Steven’s existence, he also seems to have tried to insulate Steven from this side of his life. Additionally, Steven asks Marc if they are some kind of secret agent. However, it’s not quite that simple. Moon Knight is a protector of the innocent. But he is also the Fist of Khonshu, the Egyptian god of the moon.

Oscar Isaac portrays Steven, Marc, and all of Moon Knight’s incarnation. The promo also shows a few scenes with Steven’s ally, Layla El-Faouly (May Calamawy). She seems to be in on Marc’s secret life as Moon Knight. But she knows next to nothing about Steven.
Ethan Hawke co-headlines the series as Arthur Harrow. Like Steven, Harrow was chosen by an Egyptian deity to “heal the world.” Instead of Khonshu, Horrow follows the goddess Ammit, and he has plenty of fanatical followers of his own. More importantly, Horrow has true power and a willingness to use it to achieve his destiny.
Moon Knight will premiere on Disney+ on Wednesday, March 30.
