New Mystery Science Theater 3000 Episodes Premiere in May

After another successful crowdfunding campaign, new episodes of Mystery Science Theater 3000 are officially on the horizon. The show will premiere its first new episode in almost four years on May 6, and we even have a brand new trailer to prove it. You can check it out for yourself below.

Original MST3K creator Joel Hodgson launched the Kickstarter for this new iteration of the series last year. But unlike the last revival, which aired for two seasons on Netflix, the upcoming episodes will be released on a platform of the creators’ own making, dubbed the Gizmoplex. Jonah Ray, who hosted the Netflix revival, is back for more B-movie skewering alongside other familiar staples like Crow T. Robot, Tom Servo, and Gypsy.

New episodes will hit the Gizmoplex every other Friday, and viewers can sign up to reserve their season passes here. For $135, fans can access all 13 episodes of the season and also receive a free digital download. Additionally, three-month passes are available for just $50.

The new trailer also confirms that aside from Ray and Hodgson, Patton Oswalt and Felicia Day are returning as Max and Kinga, the two individuals who force Jonah to watch some of the worst movies ever made onboard their satellite. We also get to see the full list of movies on tap for the new season.
