James Marsden Returns For Westworld Season 4

In the HBO original series, Westworld, James Marsden’s Teddy Flood was just too kind for the world. So when the android hosts rebelled against the humans, Dolores Abernathy reprogrammed Teddy to become a bloodthirsty killer. That was ultimately why Teddy killed himself in front of her. However, that won’t be the end of Teddy’s story. During a surprise appearance at Westworld‘s panel at the ATX Television Festival, Marsden revealed that he is coming back for season 4. James Marsden returns

“I’m so excited to be here and tell you nothing about season 4,” said Marsden, via the official Westworld Twitter account. “Sometimes you have to go away to come back. You learn to speak cryptically on this show. I’m very happy with where it’s ending up.”

During the panel, it was revealed that seven years passed between the end of Westworld season 3 and the beginning of season 4. And Evan Rachel Wood’s Dolores is dead and gone. So this season, Wood is portraying a new character named Christina.

“We’re in New York, Christina looks a lot like Evan Rachel Wood. Maybe not as maniacal and murdery as Dolores,” said Wood via Twitter. “She’s a normal woman living in a big city just trying to make it as a writer. Nothing ever happens to her…I think that’s all I can say.”

Additionally, HBO debuted a new poster for Westworld season 4 with the tagline “Adapt or Die.”

Westworld season 4 will premiere on HBO and HBO Max on June 26.
