Loki Season 2 Release Date Window

Report: Loki Season 2 Release Date Window Delayed for Disney+ MCU Series

It seems that there may finally be a Loki Season 2 release date window for the highly anticipated Disney+ series starring Tom Hiddleston as the titular Marvel antagonist.

What is Loki Season 2’s release date window?

A report from The Cosmic Circus states that the Marvel Studios series has been moved from an expected summer release date to in fall 2023, with October being noted as the most likely release month. Reportedly, Marvel had Loki Season 2 on an “indefinite TBD date” before settling on the possible October 2023 release month.

The report notes that “storyline issues” have been responsible for the series’ delays and that Jonathan Majors will still be playing Kang the Conqueror and his variants in Loki Season 2. Beyond these already filmed roles, Majors’ future in the MCU has apparently not been determined following the actor’s recent legal issues.

Loki Season 1 first premiered in June of 2021. The series follows a variant of Loki who leaves his timeline following the time travel heist of 2019’s Avengers: Endgame. The series featured the introduction of Jonathan Majors’ He Who Remains — the first version of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania’s villain Kang seen in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
