Loki Season 2 numbers

Loki Season 2 Draws Significantly Less Viewership Than Season 1

The second season of Marvel StudiosLoki drew less viewership than the first season did, according to newly estimated figures.

Per The Hollywood Reporter, Nielsen’s streaming rankings say Loki gathered approximately 446 million minutes of viewing time over the first three days of the second season’s debut. These 446 million minutes include viewings of the first season, meaning Loki Season 2’s numbers are likely slightly, but not significantly, lower than that amount.

Comparatively, the 2021 series premiere of Loki received approximately 731 million minutes of viewing, meaning season two’s numbers are roughly 39 percent lower than the first season.

On October 9, 2023, THR published an article based on “internal viewing data from the streamer [Disney+]” claiming the second season premiere received 10.9 million “views,” which would translate to approximately 512 million minutes of view time. Disney also said the opener of Loki Season 2 was the second most-watched Disney+ series premiere following The Mandalorian Season 3’s first episode.
