WandaVision Deleted Scene Explains How Evan Peters and Randall Park’s Characters Are Connected

A deleted scene from 2021’s WandaVision explains that Evan Peters’ Ralph Bohner was the missing witness that Randall Park’s Agent Jimmy Woo was searching for.

Per IGN, a deleted scene titled “Ankle Bracelet” from the final episode of Marvel Studios‘ WandaVision — which is releasing on 4K UHD and Blu-ray on November 28, 2023 — sees Woo explain they still need to find a “missing witness” now that things in Westview have returned to normal.

After Woo makes his departure, Peters’ Bohner is seen grabbing a bolt cutter from a nearby firetruck so that he can cut off an ankle bracelet, thus confirming he’s the missing witness the police are searching for.

Randall Park and Evan Peters’ WandaVision roles, explained

In WandaVision, Woo makes a trip out to Westview because he’s searching for a missing witness who mysteriously disappeared from the Witness Protection Program. He quickly learns about how Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch has cast a spell over the entire town, which then causes him and Monica Rambeau (Teyonah Parris) to get further involved in the mysterious case.

Peters, meanwhile, appears midway through WandaVision. He’s initially introduced as a “recast” version of Wanda’s brother Pietro (played by Aaron Taylor-Johnson in the MCU), leading fans to believe Marvel was introducing the X-Men into its continuity given that Peters portrayed Quicksilver in the Fox movies. The final episode of WandaVision, however, revealed he’s actually a character named Ralph Bohner who, like everyone else in Westview, had been bewitched into believing somebody he isn’t by Wanda’s spell.

Created by Jack Schaeffer, WandaVision also stars Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda, Paul Bettany as Vision, Kathryn Hahn as Agatha Harkness, and Kat Dennings as Darcy Lewis. The eight-episode miniseries is currently streaming on Disney+.
